I have seen these ads before, but I'm sure they're fake. These ads are too outrageous to be acceptable in the 60's, 50's , or even the 40's.

If you search for them in the "hoax" web sites, you might find them!!!

But they're amusing nonetheless!!

I had a collection of Nat Geo mags that my great uncle collected from the 30's 40's and 50's and I' can confirm that a lot of those ads did actually run.

Can't say that I ever saw the 3 boys in a boat, soap ad, but the wife beating one's yup + a host of Never let your wife drive your Corvette type ads. Priceless !

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if these were true, considering how much propaganda existed back then. Movies like Reefer Madness are the strongest example of that. I guess that why revolution was more common back then. Today we have all these intolerance rules and morally correct terms and such, making the world a very dull, though more peaceful (hahaha) place to be!
