a friend of mine wanted to buy a SUV to use in abu dhabi. budget is about 94k aed max. what are the options?

how is the 2003-2004 Prado?

it need not be a solid off roader as long as it drives well on the road.

He'll like the Prado if he isn't looking for BMW handling or something. Comfortable and reliable.

I don't recall the Prado interior materials right now, although I do remember it looked decent. The Murano has less luggage space, better handling and little off-road ability, opposite of the Prado.

The old Fords had a serious issue with the transmission (automatics), there was an old saying:

"buying a ford? make sure you have a second transmission in the trunk just in case..."

Offcourse, technology and reliability came a long way since then, so the 2000+ cars should be able to handle it ;)
