I am the CEO of a very successful web based property portal for rental properties. We are based in the UK and have been trading only a short period of time. The portal is free for letting agents and landlords to list their properties in the commercial and residential sectors. We are starting to receive great traffic figure and google cannot get enough of the website.
We currently have 400 letting agents listed and 200 landlords after only three months, with over 190,000 links on Google. We are aiming to be the largest free portal in the world within 5 years. But need funding to do so.
The website makes its money mainly from advertising around the website from companies advertising their products which is thin on the ground in the present climate. Other revenue streams include, premium rate telephone calls from customers calling real estate agents, letting agents and landlords featuring properties with our premium feature services and data feeds for agents.
We aim to build the website over the next couple of years to such an extent that when the financial markets and property markets start to perform we will be at the forefront of our sector and prime for advertising with and prime for purchasing out or floating on the stck market.
We are looking for a long term investor to stick with us, help us build the business on the internet and ride out the tougher times.
We also feel the Dubai market is prime for the website as id the asia and has great potential to expand very quickly with the correct funding.
