We are looking for a QA Analyst to execute on the end to end software quality assurance processes for a new development project we are doing in Gulf Region for a leading airline. This includes planning, test case development, functional testing, usability testing, regression testing and performance /stress testing with each release. The ideal candidates will have proven success in this area and extensive knowledge of the software engineering process and QA methodologies. This engagement is on client site in so excellent communication skills are a must
Key Responsibilities
Champion and leading initiatives to automate testing, reduce test cycles and overall time to completion
Closely work with the QA Lead to build a software solution from initial requirements through deployment and maintenance
Aid in the development of test plans and detailed functional and usability test cases for each deliverable of the software and project implementation services
Maintain a repository of regression test cases, performance /stress test cases
Analyze and write test standards, procedures and reports
Defect tracking and verification of resolution
Report project status, defects report and verification, and issue escalation in timely manner
Experience Required:
2+ years experience in Quality Assurance testing experience preferably writing test cases, executing test plans, and developing regression tests for web-based applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong core experience in various phases of end to end quality assurance including functional testing, usability testing, regression testing and performance testing
Experience in both waterfall and agile development methodologies
Experience working with automated testing tools (will be a plus)
Experience with working with web-performance testing tools (will be a plus)
