Whats your reason to use gmail?
I personally think gmail is loading fast and delivery time is fast

It's got a great interface.
It autosaves your drafts.
It works using the same account as Google Reader, Google Documents, Google talk etc.
The spam filter is very good.
It virus scans your attachments.
It has virtually unlimited space.


Downside maybe is that they scan your emails for keywords and present you ads based on that. Bit of an invasion of privacy but who cares really? I'm using Firefox with Adblock and I don't click on ads anyway so it doesn't affect me. Plus they have to get cash for giving this free service somehow.

Yeah Gmail has great features.
there's one more thing ..they got the google earth cool stuff.

The main reason i use Gmail is because of the 'conversation' threading of the emails. That is absolute genius. It has made accessing, and storing/sorting emails so easy. Plus it saves a lot of clutter, no more tons of RE: emails messing up the inbox. It's all bundled into one. Awesome. That feature alone has me sold to it.

It has a fantastic interface as well. On slower connections, i wouldn't say it is faster than others but its quick and easily accessible.

Unlimited storage space isn't a big thing for me now. Everyone is offering it.

Gmail works on OUTLOOK FREE!!!!!

Yahoo and Hotmail charge a yearly cost!

yahoo and hotmail cost? News to me. I have an email account with both and never have payed a dime. I like google also and use alot of their free tools. Anyone tried out google oceans yet?

I think it has to do with the fact that it allows you a huge storage space, it's free (at the sacrifice of Adwords privacy) but it is also easily reached from your Google search landing page...coz you're going there anyways.

Gmail makes job easier for youtubers and adsense members.

gmail also has some other interested functions,such as on line doc,celander...make your work easy

What else is there? Google offers an integrated solution and it's free.

Gmail just came out with a video add-on. Can you say "PC to PC Video Chat"?

Its Free with 2GB, faster to load since it is simple text not too much of graphic unlike Yahoo.

I like the space

I started using it in 2004 (I think), while it was in private beta, just because of the huge storage and it never crashed/ground to a halt like hotmail used to. Now I like it just for the subject threading and also I have a cool username as I got to choose first

And Cap is right, very litle spam in your inbox and no real mail in the spam trap!
