Dubai Overtime Pay

dear all,

can you please advise if in dubai managerial or higher positons in a company are entitled for an overtime pay or if the employee is getting a big salary will he still get an overtime pay if he exceed the 8hours of duty as per Dubai law?

8 hours?! Bloody hell you'd be lucky! The majority of people are working between 10 - 12 hours a day, no overtime. where do you think you are? A first world country?

the quote used in most offices is" If you are in senior/managerial position, you are expected to be responsible and professional and do whatever it takes to deliver the final product". Read as " if you need to spend 24 hours in the office, you damn well do it without expecting a penny more from the company".
