Is Mall Of The Emirates Goddess Heaven?

is mall of the emirates Goddess heaven? Sep 21, 2008
Not being crude, but went to carreforre at MoE yesterday, aisle up and down, women were dressed at their best, pedicured toes, and party dresses, for Saturday afternoon grocery shopping???

Maybe I was expecting the normal dreary sight as can be seen at any Tesco store in London, but wow... Carreforre...pleasantly surprised!

If you have just arrived from Blighty, you will notice people here are a little more dressy than back home. Beige windcheaters from Poundstretcher are not the most common item of clothing to be seen.

People needed to adopt to the same "image of Dubai"....

Superficials here i come...what they so-called social pressures?!

Atleast it satisfies the eyes. Like Burj Dubai satisfies the media coverages.

Well, there is nothing bad about it I think -- if combined with some sense!

haha reminds me of friend form Canada asking me to go to a mall where one can find best dressed women, took him to Mall of Emirates , he kept asking me "Are you sure this is the mall u r talking abt?" :lol:

Hey,

Started this post, and got busy, so havent been back for 2 days....

Barasti sounds interesting, Mina Seyahi right???

What am I looking for??? Well, from what I see Dubai is a total new experience, since coming here from the UK, I have realised that women are not really meant to look like the 'death warmed up' type we see in, e.g. London... walking around Morrisons and like the stress of the world on them. Women here look elegant, act elegant (some still sound like trash-bags, but look nice), and they know it..................

Not looking for much really, just knowing the fact that weekly grocery visits will no longer be a bore is more than satisfactory!

Thumbs up for the women-folk in Dubai :lol:

is there anything to be careful of when enjoying eye-candy?

In the UK you could get a mouthful, but I guess that doesnt happen here, unless obviously your a taxi driver and happen to cut up a 3-digit number plate Mercedes!

women dress nice to the mall, and men do look. Not something we often see in London, so sometimes we can get overwhelmed.

Not talking about playing the five-to-one game by the fruit and veg section in Carreforre! :lol:

No, but staring, stalking and generally being disrespectful to women is taken seriously here. If a girl reports you, its Kalabosh!

I know of a Pakistani taxi driver who was spending 30 days in jail followed by deportation...for farting in his cab when he had a woman passenger!
