I must say that you sound like the first clueless Australian.
Maybe you are from Austria (wait, they are pretty switched on too).

The first thing that you need to do is find a job.

Yes finding the job is your priority, and the best way to go about it is to do the search here in Dubai... I have recently met with a few recruitment agencies here in Dubai, all of them are saying that they are receiving 1500-2000 CVs daily, thus they will not even bother reviewing candidates who are NOT in the UAE.
