I'm expecting an offer working as a Managing Estimator for a major UK based company at their Dubai offices in the MEP field.

Could anyone shed any light on what I can expect within the package and what salary I should be expecting.

I know the position will including free furnished accommodation, fully expensed car, pension, health and bonus but unsure of the actual salary.

Any help from anyone in the MEP/Construction field would be appreciated.

Accomodation normally eats away more than 50% of your earnings.

You'll be just fine since your company is providing housing, travel and health care.

Im a QS but not a senior/manager like yourself just yet!

Most of the guys I work with in your position earn around AED 35-45,000 per month, which is their total package. Of that you would get a car allowance of around 3,000 and a housing allwance of about 10,000 so that would leave you with 22-32,000 per month as a basic salary.

If you are getting your house and car sorted for you I'd aim for about AED 30,000 per month. Depends how experienced / how old you are though? You can be in your position at 26 or 56!
