Anyone interested to ride with me on Friday, 30th March '07? Am thinking of renting a bike and check-out the available twisties in Dubai  . Heard that there are usually guys @ the Dragon Mart on Friday mornings. 8)

That one seems to be the ONLY place anyone knows for bike rentals. I don't think they're the websited, uniformed, fixed rates, Hertz/Avis type of place, is it? Beau, you'll have to go there and find out all the details.

Now why can't I rent a bike using my international license while I have a residence visa. :?

Yep. Total loss. Web hosting trying to recover data. At most, I'll only lose my blog posts and emails, since I backed up the main website only.

Speaking of hiring bikes, is there a place that hires out leathers & boots as well?? Its hubby's birthday in a few weeks and I'm going to get him as a present to go to Superbike School (April 13 @ autodrome) and he needs the gear. But we sold all his leathers & boots etc back in Oz, and don't really have the budget to buy them at the moment....let me know.

A stinky used overall? Autodrome might have some lying around. They at least had overalls and helmets for cars last I was there.

Maybe take one more day, if I'm lucky. Tech support in UK is fixing the server.

I know that and I sure as hell not taking any chances. But I was just wondering why is an international license not valid on a residence visa? If I was good enough to drive while on a visit...

Now that I've got an NOC will start classes soon enough.

Thanks
