i dont think its with etisalat,

i can log into MSN live and my hotmail account without any problems. If it was a block by etisalat no one would have been able to log on to msn. I think its a temporary glitch which will get sorted out by itself, but now if someone knows its been blocked by the office IT department there is a way around it( which works in 90% of the cases).

cheers,

J

Well I can log into it in the office, as we're free from Etisalat blocks there, but at home when I enter my user name and password, the Etisalat blocked screen appears.

Well it was blocking my personal pages for some reason, so the removal allowed it to by-pass whatever was blocking the pages.

Well at work if they block stuff you cant get around the MSN issue because they will be bloking anything that communicates via a specific Port , MSN uses a different port to normal internet browsing.

If your company blocks specific websites (ie not at the Etisilat level but only on a company level) you can try using a proxy server to browse the Internet
