Most probably, most of such houses are built individually or as part of compounds and were done properly, but these were done 'quick & cheap'.

Their agents have no clue about which channels they have in the first place and what packages are availabe and the world cup is just a freaking rip-off, one must subscribe for a whole year and only gets the Sports Channel and the basic ART sports package and some useless channels and it costs around...

Agree with the fellow members about Jambase. If you are willing tp spend a bit extra I think at Al Muntaha restaurant and Sky View Bar @ Burj Al Arab they have a jazz band playing over dinner, Really nice
