where do you think is the design enclave of dubai - i like bur dubai cause of the atmosphere but it seems most firm choose the free zones... also where's best to live?

Hey!

Maybe your friend could approach some of the bars or pubs here and see if they needed a musician or something? I know a few guys who make extra money working as security at gigs and stuff, maybe he could do that too. Otherwise maybe just free lance carpentry or something?

that irish for thanks a million.
i have met a former plumber over the weekend who gave me a few pointers also. i think the irish village is a good port of call for these kind of thing - not so sure if thier music policy would suit him but if you dont ask........
