Car Hire for holiday.

We are going to Dubai in November and want to hire a car for about 8 or 9 days. The 2 young people doing the driving are 24 and 25 years old and are Polish nationals. What are the rules in this regard ? I know we have had to get Visas in advance for both of them because of their nationality and I wondered if there are also additional requirements for car hire. Thanks.
