Scientists in China have built and tested a radical new space drive. Although the thrust it produces may not be enough to lift your mobile phone, it looks like it could radically change the satellite industry. Satellites are just the start: with superconducting components, this technology could generate the thrust to drive everything from deep space probes to flying cars. And it all started with a British engineer whose invention was ignored and ridiculed in his home country.

very intresting , i feel really pity for the brit engineer that discovered this , instead of being praised and funded , they step on his head.

What are they doing to the world these days. this invention is amazing if its true and not a scam.

Just you wait! One minute we will be building satellites with lasers and projectors- next minute Skynet would have taken over!

At the moment the danger of a meteorit striking the earth is higher than of Skynet taking over. So spaships with powerfull lasers that can dodge huge meteorites from their collision course with earth aren't such a bad idea.
