hi Folks,

Just visted a dentist (on Jumeirah Beach road) who advised me having a root cannel treatment + filling, total cost around 4000 dirham. Pretty expensive! And I am not willing to pay the mortgage of the dentist his house. Do you folks know any dentists in Dubai which are slightly cheaper than this one? For this money I fly back to my home country in Europe, have the treatment over there and return....Unfortunately I dont have the time for it and European airspace is closed anyway. Any recommendations?

4000 ! WTF !!!!! Try Doc Tony in Itihad polyclinic in Ajman. I had the same experince just a couple of weeks back. Clinic in Discovery Gardens quoted me 2000 dhs for a RCT and cap, Since the ortho is a good friend in Itihad in Ajman. I called him and he just told me to come over.

RCT and CAP 600dhs ! And no its not some under the tree back alley place either

In general private health care is very very cheap in Ajman. recently my ortho friend also recomened a dermatologist for a very nasty skin infection I had been suffering from for some months. Three visits and I was done and fit as a fiddle now. Consultation fee 60dhs ! + meds ( never over 200 bucks ) Although this place was a in an old bldg and not all shiny and snazzy and a bit busy. But Doc was perfect.

NO NOOOO, I remember from my stay in UAE the prices were between 700-1000 (Abu-Dhabi and The best in business types.) Don't pay any more. But are you sure the quoted 4000 was for the filling and root canal? I have a feeling the quoted price was for extraction (cos ur cavity is so bad) and then the replacement tooth.

Well if a small newly opened clinic can quote me 2000, I can't see a fancy pancy jumeriah clinic can't charge 4000. Some ones gotta pay the rent for that prime beach property turned into clinics

It wasn't an extraction at all...only RTC.. 4000 for an extraction would be insane...With a good stone, strong whiskey and a rope you can do it for free.
I went to the doc just before I wrote this note, and the treatment they did was a temporary filling....already 800AED.

Now I know why the doc is located at Jumeirah beach road. Wondering now which dentist is the most expensive of Dubai.

i usually go to Sharjah Dental University Hospital, they do it for me totally free....lol....good doctors so far

My friend had an extraction done & a general going over. It would've been cheaper for her fly back to England & had a weeks holiday!! I'm in the UK now & booked in for clean before I fly over!

I had to see a dentist once, when I was in JBR. They were conveniently situated in the next tower. She was really nice. An Indian lady from Kendal in Cumbria
She wasn't any more expensive than that bandit I visit at home.

My neighbour used to be my dentist but she had to leave when she was caught in the chair with one of the other dentists who actually owned the practice.
My new dentist is short and fat so she ain't goin' nowhere. I don't like change.

lightning , yes dental treatment here in UAE is kinda expensive. if i were you, try dental treatment in asia under health tourism.

Never look a customs man in the eye SSL! They'll pull you over for sure. Just make your way through the 'nothing to declare' and look straight ahead. Doubly important if you have bought twice as much as you're allowed in 'Duty Free'!

They scan your hand luggage too, so don't go thinking you can hide any 'toys' in there
I once saw my hand luggage go through and the belt came to a stand still and then into reverse. It was the only time the customs man had sat up straight that day.

I visited Dr Joy Dental Clinic at Jumeirah for doing invisalign treatment. This treatment was very cheap than other clinics in Dubai.

IT`s better to make it in another country, its too expensive here.

hi, i wanted to recommend Dr. Kaan, a german doctor of al abqari dental clinic,al farhan center in buhaira corniche road, sharjah. i had root canal procedure the other week and it all cost 750 aed. for the whole treatment. i paid 500aed first on the first appointment, and i need to go back for the final treatment. He explains every detail of the procedure.

I went to al abqari dental clinic,too.I got 2 porcelain crowns for 1,200 aed ,each for 600 aed and it took only 2 days!The doctor was very kind and very professional and he gave me some treatments for free,where another clinic would have charged me for it.I definitely recommend this clinic.

Hi Mali7a, I got quoted 20,000 for top and bottom half invisalign in Dr. Joys. got quoted 20,000 for top and bottom full in Noah dental clinic though. dr joy told me 6months and dr preetham in noah dental told me 18months !

I got new dentures from abqari dental clinic some weeks ago.
My friends recommended me to this clinic but I anyway checked other clinics for the price.The doc gave me the best offer and was very kind and professional.Now everyone likes my new smile.
Recommended already my colleagues and family to the clinic.

yoursuperdan ,Al abqari clinic is very bad, everything is dirty, doctor Kann seems professional only first 5 minutes, he cares only about money, he is very weard doctor, works very tough and not in professional way, i think he hates his job and hiding his true face behind fake smile, if you see Al Abqari clinic, Run Away from them!!! Better pay more and go to normal dentist!
