My partner has received an employment offer from a british firm and in attempting to negotiate a better deal, he's going to suggest he be based out of Dubai for the soles benefits of tax.

I hate to sound ignorant but I know nothing about life in Dubai and he is to respond to his offer in about 12 hours, of which this hair brain idea has only been concocted in the past hour.

Can anyone give me a synopsis of tax information, accommodation standards and anything else that seems significant for an unmarried couple considering Dubai as a place of employment?
