I recently came across a company called Gulf CV Specialists.

I sent my resume to them for a free appraisal. About a week later I received a call from them telling me my current CV would not stand a chance and for US$348 they would rewrite a new CV for me.

Referees on my CV had been contacted prior to them calling me which I thought was interesting.

But seriously it's a lot of cash for quite possibly nothing at all.

Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with this company.

Did they ask u to pay throught Western Union?
Maybe a scammer, where r they located?

its a scam, anyone askin you to pay for services isn't goin to help you other than to part with your money. dont do it

Do a search on CV tips online... write it yourself if you don't think its good enough already!

Well...i have a very different view from everyone else! I have used the service....the money is paid using a credit card while u r on the phone with them...it is quite safe though...never had any issues after that...yeah they changed the face of my CV! Looks all nice n pretty now but as I was told nobody can guarantee a job...how the CV is written does matter but whats the matter on the CV will play a greater role...but i personally feel if the CV is well written and presented it does make a better impression!
