Women told not to jet ski alone! May 21, 2012
Just ridiculous. Once again, women are punished, because men can't behave themselves. The mind boggles it really does.

A bit over the top. Accidents happen. The examples cited in the article have nothing to do with "distraction". I don't recall reading about any accidents caused by the user being "distracted" and all the accidents you do read about have to do with young men. I guess you have to put the "blame" on someone, so who better than a female?

Al Mazyoud issued his plea as he revealed a 24-year-old Arab woman was injured in a jet ski accident in the water off Al Mamzar Beach earlier this month

"There was the accident involving the woman and another in April when a 19-year-old Emirati man was playing with his friend in a dangerous way and lost control," Al Mazyoud said.

In May 2011 a teenager died as he messed about with friends on jet skis in Dubai. He fell into the water and was hit in the head by a jet ski.

Well if one woman on a jet ski can cause so much damage, imagine if you have two women on a jet ski - absolute chaos!! :shock: It does state that women shouldn't jet ski alone. :D

such a shame... I am a jetski enthusiast and I go by that area... it is indeed a fact that most of the boys there are rowdy, show-offs a-hole!! but there are a few who minds their own business & doesn't bother anyone... i stay as far away from the rowdy ones and i go off to the open water, enjoying, relaxing, taking the stress out of my system after a hard week's work :)

it's the men that needs supervision; and NOT the women!

Maybe you should be wearing an Abaya over that little black dress! Then even the men wouldn't need any supervision :P

darn! nearly 6 yrs in the country and i never did learn that lesson... i'm still wearing 'skimpy black piece' ;)
