I've just been listening to the radio where some man from Virgin Trains was saying he found a false arm complete with ticking watch. No-one ever claimed it from lost property.

It got me thinking about the time I forgot my brand new baby.
I had parked my shiny new pram, complete with shiny new baby outside the NAAFI in Akrotiri. This was when you could leave a baby outside a shop and it would still be there when you came out.
I did my shopping and got half way back to our married quarter before I realised i'd forgotton something. And that was only because the shopping weighed a ton.

What is the strangest thing you've ever lost or found?

Well I've found in my travels some pretty strange people and lost they quickly!!!!

back home found a live snake under my bed. No kidding! Tried to make it my pet, kept it in a aquairum, fed it dead rats, the little tyke would only eat live ones though. After a couple of days had to let it go, the damn thing was fiesty.

i also found a silver coin once at the bottom of a temple pond.

I brought home a scorpion once, at night I couldn't go to sleep thinking of it getting loose and running around the place so had to get rid of it !
