Geting Network Error And Dns_server_failure On DF

Geting Network Error and dns_server_failure on DF Aug 19, 2009
Recently I've been getting this error while trying to access DF. I know the site is not down as I can access it through google translate, but then can't log in. And sometimes like now its perfectly alright ?

I tried doing the ipcofig/ dnsflush on cmd prompt but no good. Any ideas

BTW this only started to happen a couple of days ago. Also now I'm usuing DU net for the last month or so

I always, always get this error. Then I just switch to a proxy and the error vanishes!

There's this other error I get, where I just can't log in or I keep logging out. Again my remedy is to switch to a proxy.

anybody can explain to me why and when a thread is moved, is it a form a censorship?

This happened to me too, it goes away after a while like a day or two, and it works straight away if i use a proxy. I dont know whats going on :p

From my experience, it only happens on Du's network. Has anyone experienced it on Etisalat's network?

With Etisalat, the website occasionally takes longer to load, otherwise everything is fine.

I am using DU (Damn Useless) and this happens to me all the time, most annoying.

Try deleting your cookies, so it's forced to refresh everytime.

I have not had a cookie in over 14 months, lol.

This DNS error has nothing to do with your cookies, it is because your ISP's Bad infrastructure, which causes routing issues.

I got this error on many websites , not just DF.

this routing error is caused by DNS misconfiguration, (probably the DNS cache is full, and they forgot to empty it ) :laughing6: :laughing6:
