QUESTION about opposite sex flatmates Nov 28, 2006
I keep hearing one thing then another.

What is accurate info on this subject.

I keep hearing that girls and guys are sharing houses/villas/apt., having different rooms, but same flat. Is this ok or is it not?

I know it's not ok to share a room with opposite sex, that is apparant.
But is it ok to share villas or flats?

Some light on the subject please?

From what I understand, the situation is unlawful... if caught and not married or related... but you would only be caught if reported.

I just found out the answer from my company. A woman and a man can live together under the same apt./villa, as long as they have separate rooms and are not a couple.

They told me several examples which makes this true.

For peace of mind and if you don't have the gut feeling despite knowing what's happening around & what you've heard, don't share accommodation with the opposite gender. Plain and simple.
