I was arrested and charged with Forgery by Sharjah Police yesterday for trying to attest a document that already carried fake attestation. Actually, my certificates are genuine but the problem came when I sent it my home country for attestation, I found out that the person who I trusted to help me put fake stamps and signatures on them. I never knew this until I was arrested at the foreign affairs office.

Now I've been charged to court. My visa expires in three days. I already bought my exit ticket. Now my passport is seized and don't know my fate yet. I'm so worried and scared because I live to live in UAE.

My question is this, what do you think is the possible punishment for me. I really want to prepare my mind. Right now no one says anything to me. I was in court today and was asked to come in Wednesday. I'm so scared and worried.

You should really talk to a lawyer.
Unless there is lawyer here on the forums I don't believe you will get any good advice.
