Re: Private Banking Sep 25, 2012
Private banking is really a big service. What exactly are you planning to apply for under this section. Portfolio management, asset allocation, etc. are some of the services that come under private banking . Given a choice, Emirates NBD bank is really good to go. They are the most trusted bank in the region.

I need to pay many broker's commissions and other expenses by bank transfer for my installments. Is it possible to open an online banking savings account in UAE? If yes, what should I do?

Criteria depends on the bank.
For Mashreq bank:
Minimum Income of AED 5,000; Salary must be transferred to your current account; Employed in Mashreq's list of approved companies

For HSBC bank:
Valid Emirates ID required; You're aged between 21 to 65 years; You earn a minimum monthly salary of AED 7,500

Choose the bank u are interested in and ask about the eligibility of taking overdraft.

I would recommend opening an account with Emirates NBD bank. I’ve had a checking account with them for past
couple of years and I must say banking with them has been quite a pleasant
experience. They offer online services which allow you to transfer funds,
order cheque books and access account statements in a hassle free manner. You
can check the bank website for more details.

When it’s comes to online banking in the UAE, I prefer Emirates NBD. It offers a feature that allows you to enable and disable your online services without a manual written request. You can transfer money from another account and check your complete transaction and transfer history.

There are many types of current accounts in Dubai; you can also open them in a number of currencies, typically AED, USD, EUR, GBP. Some banks such as RAKBANK allow you to open the account completely online. Note that the UAE Central Bank mandates that the minimum balance where a bank an start charging you a penatly must not be lower than AED 3,000, and the maximum minimum balance penalty is AED 25 per month.

To compare current accounts in the UAE, you can do so quickly here: http://www.bayzat.com/current-accounts
