I recently had Lasik done, and I give you one word of advice. Be careful. So many people are out there to get your money, and will tell you that you can Lasik when you can't! The British Lasik Center in Jumeirah will do the testing for free, and will walk you through other procedures if it turns out Lasik is not the procedure for you (which was the case for me).
i got mine done at British Lasik Center as well and can attest to them being very good. i'm very happy with my procedure and i've had it for a few years now. can't remember cost but it was the same as i would have paid stateside.
