I figured i just HAD to share this with everyone....

Not very often you get a real look at what a massive amount of horse power can do to an engine... It's turned that rod into something that resembles silly putty!

Even more impressive though is that less than a week later, he's already got the engine rebuilt, and running again... Not to imply that the engine isn't powerful, but something similar hapened to a stock standard Buick I owned once with normal driving. I think a bearing siezed and it threw a rod through the block.

A bearing with not sieze out of the blue, there will be tell tale signs before giving up the ghost.

Yes, there was a lot of tapping before the bearing seized. Maybe it wasn't getting much oil.

Could be suldge buildup in the oil galleries, specially if it was an old motor
