I was just wondering if anyone else is moving to Dubai this summer... It'd be good to get to know people before moving.

I've just arrived some days ago, it is HOT over here, but it is very cool so far

Cool...that's one person moving over! All I hear is that everyone is leaving... So how you finding it over there, apart from it being hot??

Hmm.. honestly I have not started work yet, going to start by next week, I've no friends over here and I'm used to have outings with my friends every night! so you can imagine how harsh it is being all alone :O
These days I'm exploring the country, I've gone to several malls and that's pretty much everything I've done, I'm still new so I don't know all the places
Generally everything is ok here, I have no concerns regarding anything so far and people here are showing outstanding hospitality which will make you feel good specially in your first days

Hi, I should be in Dubai the first week of August and don't really know what to expect (never been there before). It's good to see that there are newbies and I also think we should be in contact. I have so many questions. don't know where to begin! Can any of you tell me if you ran into any issues when you got there like, settling, transportation, etc.
