Happy Hanukah!!! Just wondering if Jews are welcome in Dubai. There are distant Sephardic Jews on my dad's side but my immediate family is Catholic.

Yup, Flipinos are mostly Catholics so it doesn't surprise me.

What part of the Philippines are you from? So what's it like being a Filipino Jew K-Dog. Do you feel out of place in your Filipino homeland? Is there a synagogue in your Filipino city...Manila? Are your fellow Filipinos circumcised
too or are you one of the few with a cut tool in your homeland? Are U Kosher?

^Are you Jewish? Just wondering since you're in the thread. R U in Kuala Lampur now. I'm considering taking a trip there because I heard it's modern but also very cheap. I could only afford a $15-20 hotel but someone told me I might get bed bugs. i don't mind sleeping on a hard bed but not bed bugs. I like my skin looking nice. I got bed bugs once in Honduras....it was traumatic!!!
