So are there cultural festivals in Dubai? Specifically like Latin American festivals or perhaps Asian festivals (eg. Filipino)

There is Dubai Shopping Festival which is a Dubai cultural event

^A Shopping Festival. Maybe I should google, froogle, or scroogle this. I'd love it if they gave out rolex, Louis Vuitton, Prada, or Bulgari samples. Is it an upscale Festival? Fascinating I've never heard of a shopping festival.

Edit: Looked at webpage. Hmmm.....Mirinda doesn't sound upscale. I never liked that drink. It says Seasons Greetings. Funny I had an image of a Christmas tree and wreath in my head but yeah I know what their Season's Greetings means. Rosh Hashana, right? Just kidding.
