It is impossible to capture in words
the feelings I have for you
I now have the strongest feelings that
I have ever had about anyone
Yet, when I try to tell you them
or try to write them down for you

The words do not even begin to touch
the depths of my feelings for you
And though I cannot explain
the essence of these phenomenally feelings
I can tell you what I feel like
when I am with you...

When I am with you it is as if:
I were a bird
Flying freely in the clear blue sky
I were a flower
Opening up my petals of life

When I am with you it is as if:
I were the waves of the sea
Crashing strongly against the shore
I were the rainbow after the storm
Proudly showing my colors so pure and vividly

When I am with you it is as if
Everything that's beautiful

surrounds us...

This is just a small part
of how wonderful I feel when I am with you
Maybe......
the word "Love" was invented to explain the deep heart felt
all-encompassing feelings we feel and enjoy

But, somehow, it is not strong enough
Yet, since it is the BEST word there is
Let me tell YOU a thousand times that
I Love YOU more than LOVE!!!!

An ode to love...I'm game!

I find it unappealing when authors get all carried away, and start with the sun and moon and oceans.......I'd rather them odes be earthly and realistic.
Like a cute story or sumin like that.
As much as I appreciate a good ode I'd terribly suck at writing one. SoI'll stick to what I'm good at, being a hypocrite, arrogant and blood sucker with a high level of idocy - compliments courtesy Metaphor and someone who goes by the name dawg.
In reality the closest I've come to poetic proclamaition of love was asking a girl 'You and me babe how about it'...Oh I also sang a song once "Inside of You- Infant Sorrow. Yaa that's bout it!

So here goes:-

Maybe it’s because I miss her or maybe because I wish she was here by my side,

I'm perplexed,
I ask myself why,
But only one answer can come to mind,
And it’s you,

You are the one that makes me weak,
The one that I look forward to seeing every waking minute that I breathe,

You are MOCHA!

This one should be on every man's lips, considering how we screw up so often

I don't know...guess the author was Superman fan??

In the context of the poem it's essentially how vunrable the author feels, merely thinking of her.
They say Love is a crazy captivation! Personally neither have I seen nor experianced sumtin crazy like that.
