I couldn't anymore agree with some of the above.

I cant see this as a Dubai problem more than it is everyone from everywhere being diff in everything culture lifestyle and behaviors and living in such a small area .. but in overall this is the life of the city ,if it not to your liking then move to the superb where everyone grow vegetable and greet each other ...
it was not like this in the old days. I don't know what you did to it.

its quite easy to avoid locals like you kid, but try getting through a day without being frustrated by a bloody curry muncher.

My pet peeve must be "Yes Sirmaam!"

I hear that and want to start punching!

Dubai is a very nice place to live actually but you have a point also I really hate also those drivers that doesn't even thinking of what they are doing and driving so very fast and also the traffics it will takes time for you to arrive and your work especially in Metro was so very crowded everyday sometimes i have seen some fights inside.
