My vehicle was registered 1st time in Nov 2006 and at that time I was instructed by Dubai Police to install a fire extinguisher.

yep already got a extingusher in my car a red lil one just need da firemans uniform n dubai will have its own fireman sam

Yes, installed in the dumbest of places. It is law in Sharjah, but not in Dubai. And all new cars seem to have one.

Check next to the spare tire - it might have a clip around it which is a right princess to undo in a panic situation.

wow I dinno I had one in my car

people should be educated on this, not many of us knw we have one in our cars

mine was under the drivers seat

Some 80's German cars came with fire extinguisher already equipped (Audi's, VW's, Porsche's etc).

Our 06 BMW did NOT have one, i purchased one.

Always make sure that they are inspected, the day you wish to use it (hope that day never comes), it may not work.

isnt that kinda dangerous, if you leave your car in summer and the thing explodes....is that a possiblility?
