Just found this helpful forum while looking online for a place for the two of us (me - American, him - Indian) to live during May and June, 2009. We are coming to Dubai as part of our educational charity work in India for kids with disabilities so are on a tight budget. We don't know the various areas all that well but would like to be some place nice (of course) where we can feel "at home" during our stay. If you have, or know of someplace that, ideally, has:

a bedroom, bath, kitchen or cooker/fridge
is furnished
has a pool
and parking
and doesn't cost the earth (!)

...please PM. Our budget can stretch to about 4500/mo max

We are good tenants and excited to be coming to Dubai. (Well, I am...he's been before and says it's super!))

P.S. If whoever we rent from accepts small, adorable, sweet dachshunds (2) I'll bring our pups with us. If not, we can work with that as well.
