Hey all,
So I'm moving to Dubai within 2 weeks, but I know zero people there. Just wondering how people found their transition? Was it easy to meet people and get a group of friends? Get the hang of life there? I'm 24 and now a young professional (ex-bum and professional intern haha).
I've done several sorta random moves like this before...was in Beijing for a little over a year, then Amsterdam for several months this fall and most recently London. I have a full-time job now, so I'll be in Dubai for at least 1-2 years, getting tired of starting over again and again. :)
And if anyone wants to grab a drink sometime after I arrive, well, I'm game.
Finally, if people have a heads up on a place in the Marina or something similar, let me know! I make a good roommate :)
