Hugh Jackman is awsome as Wolverine, although his Elvis style hair keeps getting bigger in every movie.

Don't forget that X3 has a new director as well. Bret Ratner has taken over from Bryan Singer who couldn't do it because he was directing Superman Returns - can't wait for that either!
Had to laugh when I heard that the special effects team had to reduce the size of Brandon Routh's lunch box, as up there on the big screen in theose tight red shorts it was just comig out at you!!!! - ah scarey!

whenever there is an x-men movie, i feel the hype is so pumped -up.
the first was great, the second...fantastic...i like nightcrawlers character.
i hope the third one will top the last one once more.

has anybody seen the movie now?
I saw it last week and I wasn't impressed at all. The story is great and awesome special effects, but some scenes were just too boring and trying to go to deep in the characters.

Saw it the other weekend. Liked the build up but disappointing ending - too predictable and almost seems too easy. Overall, still a fan of the X men.

I liked it alot. There'll defo be an X4 after it broke box office records. Plus the prequal story of Wolverine and maybe even a look at the Dark Phoenix.

wow that would be awesome...so much potential with the x series...remember x 1...where wolverine has stand alone scenes...so much can be done with that...perhaps a bit darker and edgier...with jackman of course...

It's already in the pipeline. Hgh Jackman has already signed up for a movie just looking at the life of Wolverine, which looks at how he became what he is. Because his original claws are made of bone and the adamantium was only attached to his skeleton whilst he was part of the Weapon X programme. He also used to be Canadian CIA, some sort of Samuri, the guy was born in the 1800's.
Man I know way too much about the X-Men.

Chocs, he din have claws originally did he? I thought these were only post adamantium operation? His mutant power was self healing/regeneration so he was thought to be a perfect candidate for the adamantium graft.
Fingers crossed the phoenix will be ressurected and Magnito can will his powers back - keep up the chess practice! :wink:

X, in the original comic strips yes his claws are bone covered with adamantium. He first knew about them when he was a child and got angry and accidentally stabbed someone to death with them.
In the comics all his adamantium was ripped out of his body by Magneto at some point, then they tried to put it back but it was rejected by his body. Only later on did he manage to get in put back onto his skeleton.
But yes his claws are not something that has been added, they are part of his anatomy.

Frankly first and second were so good and had dramatic ending......I felt like watching for second time......this one sucked n00dles and it even showed in box offices....the first day release was so good cos ppl expected more...then it slipped even movie like "break up" kicked it's @ss what a shame.......the same director should have made this last movie
