According to the article, a girl posted in her gamer profile that she was a lesbian. She was then harassed by other players and subsequently banned because other players found her sexual orientation "offensive".
I suggest that those of you subscribed to Xbox Live and who support gay rights to also add that you are either lesbian or gay in your gamer profiles :D

Bad move. This has been all over the web and is very bad publicity for Xbox live. I reckon they will give her a shiny new account and fill it with cash, then hope she doesn't sue them for discrimination.
