I am looking a position in Dubai the office is located at the Hyatt Regency Galleria building. Initially, it will be just me - I'm easy as far as accommodation goes - but my wife and daughter (18months old) will follow out a couple of months later. Can anyone advise me:
1. If commuting times are to be kept to under 1hr, what are the best locations to look at renting?
2. For a 2 bedroom villa / house / apartment, what should I be expecting to pay?
3. Typically, are advertised rates inclusive of water & energy bills, or are they extra? If so, what would one typically expect to pay?
I am not looking for "luxury" - just something clean and safe, reasonably close to amenities such as supermarkets. I've read about some places having access to swimming pool and gym - that would be a definite advantage, though not essential.
Any advise and recommendations would be very much appreciated.
