Are they charging you for finding work for you in dubai? viswa_111 they are sayign the passport is needed for processing visa and they are taking service charges for processing visa. dbxsoul will you be employed by a manpower company (one who hires out labour to contractors) or directly by a permanent employer? in either case it is not acceptable for the employee to pay any of the charges, as the company will claim the processing fee from employer as well! they may well need a copy of your passport to apply for the visa, but do not need the original passport until they are ready to provide you with a labour card or residency visa.
