Im a UK citizen moving to Dubai. I had my University Postgraduate certificate from an English University legalised and sent to my future office along with a form they'd sent me. It was signed bya solicitor, and legalised by the Foreign Office and the UAE Consulate in London.
They just now (first time they mentioned it) asked for the transcript of reults, which I never had.
Is the transcript really necessary to obtain the work visa???

They're obsessed with transcripts here, even final year are often asked to provide a transcript of previous year results before getting interviews.
No, your degree is fine. Just say there are no formal transcripts given in the UK (well, I remember my breakdown came in a separate letter to my degree but wasn't an official document and disappeared over the years).

thanks. all this is starting to get annoying and thats before I've even arrived.
I lived in 4 other countries before moving back to the UK again to study and it was all plain sailing, but they were all in the EEA.
