i never watched it, but as an avid simpsons fan, its pretty obvious that the show wouldnt cross the cultural borders in a dedicated show.
and why would you ever think that arabs would find this funny, not just as its american, but it seems they have a hard time finding anything 'western' funny!

I'd say only this dubbed version flopped. Those who understand English scrounge for downloaded episodes. The voice-acting seems pretty bad in the Arabic one too.
