That's the story of the game raidah... Ronaldinho could have done more sitting on the bench than being on the field. Squash?
Badminton?
Netball?
Hockey?
Athletics?
Each of these sports are played by very many millions of people around the world, however they don't attract the investment or corporate sponsorship levels of football. As a result, the participants are far more competitive and play for the sport...as opposed to the financial reward.
