actually DK on reading in depth i would probably agree with you, with one small amendement
"barbs" i alway ensure my jest's if they are not serious, are always punctuated with a wink or sticky out tongue which to me always indicates friendly banter.
It is easy on here unless you know the person well to mistake "tone". One example earlier today was Vee being :cry: initailly at my response re her stalking me, and i replied with a pic of a bunny and boiler. I meant it with humerous affection, but i think she read it differently.

Difficult to inject emotive tone to a post. Sarcasm and irony just seem to be missed and everyone reads it as they find it. I am mostly posting with tongue thrust firmly in cheek...whmch mkes umt hrd choo schpeek...usually!
