Ok.. pretty clueless about Dubai and wondering which locations in Dubai would be an ideal place to live in if you work at Dubai Internet City.
I know its a popular stop for buses and carpools..so even if I stayed out of the way I should be able to find a way to travel to work.
I can't spend too much on rent.. willing to share a 1 bedroom flat at around 2500 AED
Also could you tell me the places I should most definitely avoid (because of traffic.. or any other reason you can think of)

You'll get nowhere near DIC for that so wherever you stay will be a commute. Almost as well staying on the edge of Abu Dhabi.
