what's the difference

redmatrice Hello I wanna know what's the difference between a Flat and a Studio and an 1BR/Appartement , I tought that a studio is 1BR/appartement , waiting for your answer ineedacoolnick Less doors in a studio! :) :) MaaaD a Studio (Called Efficiency in other parts of the world) Is basically a one room apartment with a bathroom and kitchenette. Sort of like a hotel room. Here is a sample floor plan:

a 1 Bedroom apartment usually has a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen.
