So I went to check my fines on the d site
Then on the left menu bar, the last item says:
Coming Soon on Site:

After having to line up for visa, medical tests, ID card and car registration, what is this new thing with 10,000 steps!

ps: beware, dubai police website doesn't list all the violations!!! i swear i had paid all by online, but asked 200 dhs again when renewing registration back in dec.

Are you sure your were not double-charged? Me daddy paid for a fine issued in ABU DHABI. TWICE! And he hasn't set foot there in 10 years. Bring it up, and "they" make you run around between RTA and Deira Muroor until you give up.

not worth the hassles and time for 200 dhs. i paid anyway as i had to renew the registration anyway.
oh btw, the violation was in feb 2008 and i renewed it in dec 2008. how on earth i could prove it? the website has no violation/payment history to print or something. crap!
