I had called my wife on Residence Visa to UAE without getting her name changed in passport (it is still on her maiden name)
Now she is back in India for Delivery.
Q1) If she gets the name change in her passport now, what happens to her UAE Residence Visa? (What needs to be done so that she can travel again on the same visa)
Q2) Can the new born get a passport if Mothers passport is still on Maiden name?
Q3) What needs for the newborn to get a passport in India if the Father is Abroad?

I may be able to help on question 1.
as far as i am aware..you can change your name on the visa if you have the Marriage certificate.
Then you need to get it attested(correct spelling??)by the Ministry of forieghn affairs in your homeland.
then you re apply for your visa..
thats sort off what happened to us,

agreed, my wife had both her old and new passports stapled together, this happens a lot, sepecially where the old passport that has your visa in has expired and you have to have a new passport issued (but the visa in the old one is still valid).
questions 2 and 3 you should really be asking the indian consulate
