DFers, what are your motivations behind "subscribing to virtual clubs", like DF?
is it a substitute to real company
is a virtual relationship a safer alternative to a real one?
is it 'cos the focus aint on looks and materiality?
or is it a place to dream... where everything is possible.. boundaries removed... we're shielded by a virtual mask.. a sort of permanent innocent game.. eventually...

I have no real answers. I just let it be whatever the outcomes. I was really bored one time i ended up surfing all the websites around the planet and here i found DF. :D

It was extremely active (and is increasingly so again) but a few trolls and numpty heads decided it was a target for their own stupidity personal peccadilloes and petty jealousies. They are long gone and its better without them.
