Normally I record TV programs on the fly (via AV plugs) using portable media player (Vosonic) into MP4 format. But I'm not satisfied with it (not very good quality).
- How to capture video (AV/RF plugs or DVB stream) from e-Vision cable box (some kids channels) to the laptop (DivX/XviD/HD format) over cable/LAN/wi-fi. Hardware & software required?
- Once the file in the laptop and assuming I have Wi-Fi setup, how to stream over Wi-Fi to my TV (only AV inputs, no DVI/HDMI). Hardware & software required? I saw once in T3/Stuff magazines that there are some branded peripherals (wireless streaming), but they are too expensive.
