I like vegemite, i dont eat it all the time though and back home a small jar could last over a year sometimes.
Now i havent felt like it all since i got to Dubai, but in the last month or so i have been having serious cravings.
I have checked the trade centre spinneys, DCC Carrefour and the Choitrams in the crowne plaza.....but no love....
So if anyone knows where i can find a jar, please let me know...
Thanks!

What exactly is Vegemite...is it some kind of Vegie paste?

it's a spread that you can put on bread/toast - good quick breakie and even better late night snack!

V-Man: Vegemite is an Australian spread. :)

I have decided the reason most people dont like the stuff is because the first time they try it they treat it like all other spreads and slather the stuff on eeek even i dont like it like that!
The trick is only a little bit with butter, and it MUST be on toast - not a big fan of it on bread.

To be honest, I can't stand vegemite. :(

Park n'Shop should have it. Down Al Wasel road between Union Co-op / Choitrams (which might also stock it) and Spinneys.

I couldn't find it betwen Nov 06 and Feb 07. Then Carfours in MOE stocked up and I went crazy! I could bathe in it now! Wouldn't come out clean, though. ;o)

Don't like it as well, find it tasteless and the smell is definitely a NO NO
But my girlfriend (Australian) loves it...
