It's not really a lovely story. It's a saint's day (there are so many for different Christian saints, even several called Valentine). Saint in those days were martyrs, meaning they were killed for their religious beliefs, so they are honoured with a special day each year. :idea:
Anyway, nowadays St.Valentines day is for lovers, no need to pay attention to me, I'm just grumpy coz I won't get a card :D
